January 29 2020

Washington, DC-based research and consulting company Heart+Mind Strategies has announced that co-CEO Dee Allsop will take an 18-month sabbatical and return in early 2022, leaving current co-CEO Mike Dabadie as the sole Chief Executive.

Mike Dabadie and Dee AllsopLaunched in 2010 by former Wirthlin Worldwide leaders, Heart+Mind uses a scientific approach to uncover how people think, feel and make decisions, and then helps clients apply these insights. Dabadie (pictured) is the company's Founding Partner, who previously worked for Promise as MD, North America. Before this, he was President, Brand & Strategy at Harris Interactive; and SVP at Wirthlin Worldwide, where he worked for thirteen years.

As CEO, Dabadie will work closely with Mark Wirthlin, who continues to head the company's Executive Leadership as President / COO, as well as with the rest of his leadership team. Allsop will be working until mid-2020, will spend his sabbatical working with his church, and then return to a leadership role in the company.

Commenting on the news, Dabadie said: 'Over the past decade, guided by Dee's steady hand, we have progressively grown to fifty three professionals and an increasing list of global brands, public policy groups, and non-profit clients. We appreciate all Dee has done to bring us to this point and admire his decision to serve others as it coincides with the values here at Heart+Mind Strategies'.
