SurveyMonkey Hires Data, Brand and IR Leaders

DIY online research software company SurveyMonkey has appointed Amit Sethi as Vice President of Data, Karen Budell as VP of Brand Marketing and Gary Fuges as VP of Investor Relations.

Amit SethiSethi (pictured) joins with two decades of experience, spent managing teams for Adobe and IBM. Most recently he was Director Information Management at Adobe, managing groups responsible for Data Engineering, Big Data Platforms and Data Strategy. Prior to this he worked for IBM as Data and Analytics Leader; leading technical teams to design enterprise solutions, running data analytics strategy sessions with CTOs, CIOs and VPs of technology, and developing big data maturity models for clients. He previously spent nine years at IBM in senior engineering/architect roles. At SurveyMonkey Sethi is responsible for overall data strategy, which includes infrastructure, business intelligence and data science.

Budell previously worked at Google, where she was influential in leading the research and messaging for the rebrand and launch of Google's enterprise analytics and advertising platform; and before this she spent many years in leadership positions at organizations such as Adaptive Insights and Chicago Tribune Media Group. In her new role, she will play a part in creating strategic content, internalizing customer insights, and developing research and brand design.

Fuges has more than eighteen years' financial experience across pre-IPO and publicly-traded companies. He worked most recently at Castlight Health as Head of Investor Relationships, and he is now responsible for leading the development and execution of SurveyMonkey's global investor relations strategy.
