New Firm Nostradamus Adds Two Advisors

In the UK, B2B insight and opinion leader community specialist Nostradamus Consulting has appointed Mettle Consulting founder Andrew Tucker as a member of its Executive Committee, to advise on data science and trust analytics issues; and added Brian Schwieger to its Advisory Council.

Soon to be launched by Julian Green, former MD of Kantar's B2B practice, Nostradamus plans to capitalise on the opportunity presented by the closure or Kantar's specialist B2B practice, following WPP's recentsale of 60% of the insights division to Bain Capital. The new business will offer a combination of market research, social media intelligence and advanced analytics, and its first initiative has been to build a resource comprising more than 2,000 global energy stakeholders.

In partnerships with the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge and Sussex, Tucker (pictured) has pioneered the use of machine learning to structure and analyse large unstructured public conversations around enterprise risk management. He previously founded brand trust analytics company Mettle Consulting, which was acquired by the Reputation Institute in 2018, and where Tucker went on to serve as Data Science Director. More recently, he co-founded Mettle Capital Partners, which uses artificial intelligence predictions of 'Environmental, Social & Governance' (ESG) performance to drive investing strategies and inform stakeholder engagement.

Schwieger is currently Global Head of Equities and co-Head Equity, Funds and Fixed Income at the London Stock Exchange Group, and a former equities and oil trader. He will be advising the Nostradamus team on client performance, and the likely pressures they face from a markets, reputation and communications perspective.
