Leger Names General Manager for Western Canada

Canadian polling, MR and strategy firm Leger has appointed former NRG exec Heather Owen as Vice President of its Vancouver office and General Manager for Western Canada.

Owen (pictured), who has almost 25 years' brand, comms, marketing and planning experience, previously served as SVP of public sector and B2B research specialist National Research Group (NRG), which was acquired by Leger last year. Prior to managing NRG's Vancouver office, she spent more than fourteen years at RBC Wealth Management, latterly as Senior Manager, Brand & Sponsorships and earlier as Director, Enterprise Brand and Communications.

In her new role, she leads a team of specialists, and is tasked with raising brand awareness and establishing partnerships. Company President Jean-Marc Léger comments: 'Since last fall, Heather Owen has significantly facilitated NRG's integration into Leger. She is now helping us implement new research and analytics solutions for the BC market'.
