Merlinco Names New Managing Director

UK survey software firm Merlinco has appointed long-time SwissPeaks exec Simon Stephen as Managing Director, replacing John Tebboth who has held the role for the past twelve years, and who remains as a Board Director.

Launched in 1991, Merlinco develops and supports a range of software packages for survey design, data collection and analysis. Via its Production Department it also offers coding and data entry, survey management, web surveys, analysis and file exports; and the firm conducts training courses, standard or tailored to client needs.

Stephen (pictured) joins with 25 years' survey data processing experience, including research and data management roles at NOP World, BMRB-Kantar, and ORC International. For the past two decades, he has served as a Director at specialist MR data management consultancy SwissPeaks.

Commenting on his appointment, Stephen said: 'I am excited to be given the opportunity to develop the specialist survey services and software offered by Merlinco, driving towards a higher profile for the leading survey analysis package MERLIN.
