New President for Word-of-Mouth Specialist Bazaarvoice

In the US, word-of-mouth specialist Bazaarvoice has appointed Tom Addis as President, to focus on positioning the teams, processes, and methodologies for further company growth.

Tom AddisTexas-based Bazaarvoice, which has other offices in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia, offers technology, analytics and expertise to help companies enhance the online shopping experience with related social media applications. Each month in the Bazaarvoice Network, more than a billion consumers create, view and share user generated content including reviews, questions and answers, and social media photos across more than thousands of global brand and retailer web sites.

Addis (pictured) joins with more than 30 years' experience of scaling businesses across the technology sector. Most recently, he was CEO of analytics platform Kinetica, prior to which, he held senior positions at collaboration tech specialist Box, where he latterly served as CRO. Earlier, he spent more than nine years at Salesforce.com as Area VP, having begun his career at IBM, before moving to Siebel Systems (Oracle).
