Presidential Promotions for Maru/Matchbox

Tech-enabled MR and customer insights firm Maru Group has promoted two senior execs at its communities specialist Maru/Matchbox - Daniel Finder to the newly created role of President, Client Relationships; and Brent Snider to President, Chief Revenue Officer.

Maru and its operating companies - Maru/Matchbox, Maru/Blue and Maru/HUB - combine expertise in System 1 thinking (fast, instinctive and emotional) and System 2 (slower, more deliberative and more logical), in order to deliver a 'holistic understanding' of consumer decision-making. Maru/Matchbox was formed when MARU Group acquired Vision Critical's North American Research Consulting division in 2016.

Finder, who is based in Argentina, joined Maru Group in 2018 as CEO Latin America, and more recently also served as President Maru/Matchbox. Prior to this he worked for Ipsos as CEO South Cone Cluster (Peru, Chile, Argentina and Bolivia), and he was Synovate's MD for Argentina, having begun his MR career at P&G. Before joining the group as CRO in 2019, Snider spent twelve years at System 1 Research (formerly BrainJuicer), latterly as President, Americas & APAC; and he spent seven years at Kantar Millward Brown. He is based in New York.

In their new roles, Finder is the most senior client-facing executive at Maru, with responsibility for overseeing service delivery in all geographies, while Snider will take on overall responsibility for business development. Maru Group CEO Ged Parton says the new International roles 'will help the business to focus efforts on optimizing multi market client service delivery, managing expansion, and growing sales revenue'. He adds: 'Daniel and Brent are outstanding talents with the right mix of intellectual generosity and integrity; their collaborative styles are helping to build our culture in the right direction'.
