MetrixLab Names Strauss UK Managing Director

Digital research firm MetrixLab has promoted Claudia Strauss to the role of UK Managing Director, replacing Angela Morgans who will focus full-time on her position as Regional Managing Director for MetrixLab Europe.

Claudia Strauss and Angela MorgansThe firm, which is part of the Tokyo-based online specialist Macromill, helps clients with product innovation, brand engagement and creating customer value. Strauss joined in 2017 after three years at Future Thinking, where she latterly led the UK office. Before this, she was Head of Insight at Burtons Foods and Kerry Foods, Senior Research Manager at T Mobile, and a Director at Illuminas, having spent the previous twelve years at Ipsos.

In her new role, Strauss will take responsibility for the commercial performance and growth of the UK business, as well as working alongside the research team to support many of MetrixLab's biggest accounts based in the UK. She will replace Morgans, who joined the company in 2014 from Millward Brown, where she latterly served as Group Head and Commercial Director, having earlier held senior roles at ORC International in London and Market Pulse in Sydney, Australia.

Commenting on the changes, Morgans said: 'The UK business within MetrixLab continues to grow by strong double digits every year, and significantly outpace the market. I am very proud of the successful team and business that we have built over the past years, and the winning client partnerships we have formed. I have every confidence that Claudia is the right person to now take the reins and take the UK business to even greater heights'.
