In LA, predictive consumer insights company Vault AI has appointed former National Research Group (NRG) execs Ethan Titelman as President of Client Solutions, and AJ Giovannetti as SVP of Product Strategy.

Ethan Titelman and AJ GiovannettiThe firm, which also has an office in Israel, is a machine learning audience prediction company which analyzes movie story lines to deliver insights for marketing and development executives at Hollywood studios, global TV networks, distributors, production companies and agencies. Its RealAudience platform was designed to help forecast audiences in terms of demand, demographic breakdown, and drivers, without the need for surveys or focus groups. At the end of last year Vault AI raised $8m in a Series A round of funding, which it has been using to expand its product development roadmap.

Titelman joins from Nielsen's former entertainment research subsidiary NRG (acquired by Stagwell), where he was most recently EVP, having earlier spent more than fourteen years at Penn, Schoen & Berland. He will now lead all client relationship interaction, with a focus on theatrical and streaming. In a statement, Vault AI CEO and co-founder David Stiff described Titelman as 'one of the most trusted minds in the consumer insights space'. Before this he worked for Hall & Partners and Penn, Schoen & Berland. In his new role, Giovannetti will develop new products that use the company's proprietary databases, machine learning technology and data science expertise.

In addition, Rich Calabrese recently joined as Executive Director of Insights and Strategy, after a career which included serving as Vice President, Entertainment Accounts at research firm MarketCast, and after eight years at social media analytics specialist Fizziology (acquired by MarketCast in 2017). Melbourne, Australia-based Luke Schoknecht also joined in April as Chief Marketing Officer, after running brand agency Raine & Makin and spending more than a year as a consultant with Vault AI.
