InMoment Hires Medallia's Garg as Product Chief

US-based customer intelligence platform InMoment has appointed former Medallia SVP Sandeep Garg as Chief Product Officer.

Sandeep GargThe company, which was formed from the merger of US firm Mindshare Technologies and Canadian firm Empathica, offers an 'Experience Intelligence' (XI) platform, which analyzes and evaluates enterprise experience data and customer feedback. In the past couple of years, InMoment has acquired customer experience management software and solutions firm MaritzCX; text analytics specialist Lexalytics; digital feedback solutions provider Wootric; and more recently, customer review management software company ReviewTrackers.

Garg (pictured) joins with more than twenty years' leadership experience in product management, design, development and strategy, as well as knowledge of customer and employee experience, data science, and consumer and business insights. Most recently, he worked at customer experience management specialist Medallia as SVP Product. Prior to this he was VP Product, Data and Analytics Monetization Offerings at First Data Corporation; Senior Director, Product Management at SAP; and Senior Product Manager at Yahoo!

Commenting on the appointment, CEO Andrew Joiner said: 'Sandeep will play a critical role in our cloud, data science, and analytics automation product strategy. His data-driven approach to product development and track record of winning solutions will accelerate our strategy, and he will be an integral member of our leadership team as we further invest in our product and platform capabilities'.
