In the US, healthcare intelligence company Konovo has added former Kantar Health exec Jeremy Brody as a board advisor, charged with helping to accelerate the expansion of its AI-native platform.
Boston, MA-based Konovo was formed in April this year by the merger of the three healthcare research firms within Apollo Intelligence - InCrowd, SHG and GlocalMind. The real-time life sciences and healthcare insights group operates across thirteen countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia, and is a portfolio company of Frazier Healthcare Partners. Services include a global panel of healthcare professionals and patients with mobile-first quant and qual research capabilities, plus AI features to assist the gathering and sharing of insights.
Brody brings a 30-year track record of innovation in market research and health data technologies. He is currently MD of Brody Capital & Advisors (BC&A), and earlier spent a dozen years at Kantar Health, including time as Chief Strategy Officer - in this role he was part of the executive team leading the company's entry into the fields of oncology, rare diseases and Real-World Evidence (RWE). He also served as EVP of Corporate Development in charge of partnerships and acquisitions, and as global Head of Operations.
Earlier Brody co-founded online physician research panel Jstreetdata.com, and led it as CEO until it was acquired in 2002 by TNS. He worked as Chief Strategy Officer at Cerner Enviza following its acquisition of Kantar Health, and at Aetion, a Real-World Evidence technology platform company.
Konovo CEO Tal Rosenberg says of the appointment, 'We're honored to have Jeremy Brody's guidance on accelerating innovation through technology, and his depth of understanding of both the challenges and opportunities in life science market research. His experience and insights will benefit Konovo immensely as we expand our AI-native intelligent platform so that healthcare and life science players can make better decisions at the speed of business today.'
