Job Spec: Opportunity for an established government statistician to join a well-regarded arm's-length government body working in the financial industry in an established research and analysis team.

Day to day you will:

• Analyse and interpret data from both internal surveys
• Apply expert knowledge in statistical and data-modelling techniques to support strategic decisions and policy-making.
• Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Work cross-functionally with other teams and analysts across the organisation.
• Provide support for ad hoc research and data-related requests.

• Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods and experience in interpreting and analysing survey data.
• Proficiency in statistical and data-modelling tools and techniques, such as survey sampling, weighting, imputation, regression analysis, and more.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical analysis and findings to a non-technical audience effectively.
• A degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, or significant experience in research and data analysis.
