Job Spec: Our expanding client is seeking a Senior Fieldwork Executive to ensure the seamless day-to-day management of projects and facility operations. You'll be central to keeping everything on track, from initial planning to final delivery, offering plenty of variety throughout the week. This is an excellent opportunity to step into line management, enhance your operational skills, and grow within a supportive, collaborative team.


Key Responsibilities

• Deliver projects efficiently, delegating tasks to Executives and Apprentices.
• Line manage junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Lead fieldwork both onsite and offsite, coordinating logistics and hosting participants (occasional evening work required).
• Oversee the maintenance of fieldwork equipment and facilities, identifying and resolving capacity challenges.
• Manage the recruitment, onboarding, and payment of casual staff.
• Monitor project progress, quotas, and incentives, recommending improvements where appropriate.
• Serve as a role model, nurturing strong working relationships across teams.

About You

• Experience in fieldwork or research project operations, ideally with a background in project management.
• Highly organised, adaptable, and confident managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Previous line management experience, or ready to take that next step.
• Positive, proactive, and hands-on approach - keen to support all areas of delivery.
• Based in or near Leeds, with a full driving licence and access to a car.
• Flexible regarding working hours, including occasional evenings (with time off in lieu).
