Renowned for its expertise in brand, communications and reputation research, the agency partners with government departments, not-for-profits and leading commercial organisations to evaluate effectiveness, optimise messaging and inform strategic decision-making.
As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead a portfolio of brand, communications and social research clients.
The Role
As Account Director, you'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio spanning continuous tracking programmes, campaign evaluation, communications testing and bespoke strategic research.
Working across both government and commercial sectors, you'll help clients understand how their brands, messages and communications are performing, identify opportunities for improvement and provide evidence-based recommendations that drive meaningful outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading major brand, communications and social research programmes from proposal through to delivery.
- Advising clients on communications effectiveness, social messaging, campaign evaluation and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Delivering high-impact insights that influence policy decisions, social initiatives, brand strategy and marketing investment.
- Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across government, public sector and commercial organisations.
- Developing compelling narratives and executive-level presentations that bring data to life.
- Driving commercial growth through account leadership, strategic thinking and identification of new opportunities.
- Mentoring and developing junior team members while contributing to the broader leadership of the business.
About You
You'll bring strong quantitative research expertise alongside a genuine interest in understanding human behaviour, communications effectiveness and societal impact.
We're looking for:
- 4/5+ years' experience within a market research or insights consultancy.
- Strong experience across brand and communications research, campaign evaluation and social research.
- Exposure to government, public sector, behaviour change, social impact or public affairs research would be a plus.
- Exceptional storytelling and client-facing skills, with the ability to translate complex findings into strategic recommendations.
- Proven experience managing senior client relationships and leading complex research programmes.
- Commercial acumen and a consultative approach to problem-solving.
- Experience mentoring and developing researchers.
