The Role: Qualitative Research Consultant
As the Sydney team continues to grow, they're looking for a curious, passionate and commercially minded qualitative researcher with 2-4 years' agency-side market research experience.
Working alongside some of the industry's most respected qualitative practitioners, you'll play a hands-on role in delivering impactful research programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients. From brand strategy and customer experience to innovation and behaviour change, you'll help uncover the human truths that drive better decisions.
Responsibilities
- Support and lead qualitative research projects from proposal through to debrief.
- Design discussion guides and qualitative research frameworks.
- Conduct and support a range of qualitative methodologies including focus groups, depth interviews, online communities, workshops and co-creation sessions.
- Analyse qualitative data and identify meaningful themes, patterns and insights.
- Develop compelling storytelling that translates research findings into strategic recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with clients and contribute confidently to project discussions.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and strategists on integrated research programmes.
- Contribute to proposals, pitches and thought leadership initiatives.
Project Variety

About You- 2-4 years' market research agency experience with a strong qualitative research focus.
- Experience supporting and managing projects through the full research lifecycle.
- Strong moderation, analysis and storytelling skills, or a desire to continue developing these capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Naturally curious, empathetic and passionate about understanding human behaviour.
- Confident building relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A collaborative approach and eagerness to learn from some of the best researchers in the industry.
