Job Spec: This leading independent market research consultancy specialises in turning complex data into clear, commercially meaningful recommendations. Working with some of Australia's best-known brands, they help clients understand consumers, anticipate change and make smarter business decisions through evidence-led insight. Famed for their rigorous thinking, practical insights and lasting client partnerships, they're now looking for a Senior Market Research Consultant to join their Melbourne team.


The Role

You'll lead end-to-end quantitative research projects across FMCG, Retail, and Health & Wellness clients, partnering with organisations to solve commercial challenges through robust research and compelling storytelling.

Working closely with clients, you'll understand business objectives, recommend the right methodologies, manage projects from proposal through to delivery, and transform data into insights that inspire action.


About You

You'll bring:

• 3-4 years' agency-side quantitative market research experience.
• A relevant degree (Market Research, Psychology, Sociology or similar).
• Strong experience designing surveys and managing projects end to end.
• Confidence analysing data and developing clear, commercially relevant recommendations.
• Experience using Q, SPSS, R or similar analytical software.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A genuine curiosity about consumer behaviour and a passion for delivering high-quality research.
