Job Description

As a Text and Social Analyst, you assist in the design, configuration and implementation of text and social analytics models in support of customers' program goals and business objectives. Working within Confirmit Horizon's Genius® and other tools, you configure queries and models to automate the categorization and analysis of unstructured data to deliver actionable insights. You deliver customer training on the Horizon's Genius® products as well as configured models to support customers' long-term self-sufficiency. You also provide post-implementation consultation and on-going maintenance of configured models for our customers with managed services. You will sometimes be a primary analytics client contact and as such will be building close client relationships both internally and externally.


Your role will challenge you to:

• Conduct customer needs assessments and categorization workshops under the guidance of a senior team member.
• Lead the configuration and deployment of Confirmit Genius® text analytics solutions under the direction of the Program Manager and/or Director, Analytics.
• Advise on data file structures and formats, required variables and appropriate metrics.
• Implement categorization models and apply sentiment tuning in Confirmit Genius®.
• Perform quality control testing for model conformance and performance.
• Configure queries and harvest social listening data using platforms such as Brandwatch.
• Provide reporting requirements to internal technical consultant.
• Train customers on Confirmit Genius® product and configured solutions.
• Review and maintain customer models over time to ensure minimum quality thresholds are achieved.
• Assist selling teams with the configuration and delivery of POC's during pre-sales.
• Provide feedback to assist with product enhancements.

Qualifications

In addition to the requisite research, text and social analytics and technical skills, this role requires previous customer-facing experience. The ideal team member is curious, creative and enjoys helping customers solve their business challenges through innovative analytics solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in an analytical or business-related subject, (e.g., marketing/market research, unstructured data analytics, linguistics, computer science, statistics, etc.) or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role required.
• Experience with market research, customer/employee/patient experience a plus
• Experience across multiple industry verticals and horizontals is a plus
• Experience using analytics software to analyze, interpret and report data
• Experience with social media data, social analytics platforms, sentiment analysis, and unstructured text data
• Demonstrated linguistic, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to apply basic statistical concepts such as distributions, significance, sampling and write Boolean expressions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to travel 10% of the time.
