Technical Support Engineer (Data Support Manager)

We are looking for a well-organized, collaborative and tech-savvy individual to join our global Technical Support team as a Technical Support Engineer (Data Support Manager).

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be guiding customers and internal teams through their challenges with our software including Forsta Visualizations, by becoming a Forsta Visualizations specialist and understanding clients' business, needs and wants. You would also be providing technical support to our clients and contributing to the implementation of new data collection and reporting applications that leverage the Forsta Plus platform.

You will be working directly with US clients and potentially during US work hours (Eastern Standard Time).

You will work closely with members of Technical Support, Project Management, Account Management, IT, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure that the Forsta Visualizations tool consistently exceeds customer expectations, which is why...

You are:

• Comfortable in an 'all hands-on deck' environment where everyone is willing to roll-up their sleeves and do work outside of their official role to help get the job done

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Able to work US hours
• Degree in Data Sciences or Data Analysis would be great for this role
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar environment (Application Support) with comparable responsibilities is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
• Fluent English both written and spoken
• Good knowledge of Excel and SPSS
• Outstanding communication skills and the ability to work with a wide range of personalities
• Demonstrated understanding of technology & ability to leverage technology effectively
• High social skills and are service-minded
• The ability to work in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
• Experience from market research industry (a plus)
• Troubleshoot Client Issues involving JScript programming logic, database reporting, and survey programming workflow.
• Assist clients in developing Survey Page design using HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
