Job Spec: A rare opportunity to work cross-sector in food, countryside, environmental, heritage and agriculture research. Our client is the only market research agency to cover the length of the UK food supply chain - they work across sectors to deliver their clients with answers to challenges or decisions from those that grow the food to those that eat it.

Our client seeks a Research Manager to join the business during its next exciting phase of growth and the role would suit an existing SRE or RM who is looking to be part of their growth journey. You'd work on projects for all sizes of client, from start-ups to the world's biggest food and drink suppliers.

The primary focus for this role is to successfully manage and deliver research programs across their key clients along with your team of Research Executives and with the support of the Account Director. You might be a mixed methods researcher or have a quant or qual leaning but either way you'll be able to take a brief from a colleague, ask the right questions, and - once the brief is clear - you know where to look for existing insight. You're quick to spot trends, can synthetise info from different resources and present it in an engaging way.

The role requirements are -

  • Managing and overseeing research projects for clients from end to end (Client and supplier management)
  • Developing research methodologies and ensuring they are properly implemented
  • Analysing and interpreting data to identify key insights and recommendations.
  • Providing strategic guidance and recommendations to clients based on research findings.
  • Articulate and present insights back to client
  • Work with other managers and directors to win new work from new and existing clients and proactively identify new business opportunities both in terms of research services;
  • Build proposals with accurate costs and help drive new business
  • Plan and manage resources effectively, including financial budgets;
  • Managing junior team member and staying on top of timelines.
  • Growing the talent for engaging, playful, immersive moderation.
This is a really interesting role with excellent career development opportunities and will be considered on either a 4 or 5 day per week basis. Please get in touch for the full details.
