Job Spec: Our client is a full service agency who has been experiencing rapid growth and are now seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic operational team as an Operations Manager. As the Operations Manager you will play a pivotal role closely collaborating with research teams and other members of the data services team. This multifaceted position involves script creation, data table production, and the development of analysis platforms. You will be responsible for managing the Data Services Team and provide valuable guidance and support. Your expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, SQL, and other programming languages (e.g., R, Python, VBA) will be invaluable in this role. Proficiency in Excel and SPSS is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Script creation using various capture programs
  • Production of data tables and analysis platforms
  • Line management and team leadership
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and SQL
  • Strong Excel and SPSS skills
  • Offering support and advice to the data services team and wider business
  • Project management to ensure client expectations are met
  • Handling complex, visually engaging online surveys
  • Developing systems to automate data formatting, analysis, and transfer
  • Overseeing departmental performance (innovation, technical expertise, efficiency/automation, and quality assurance)
  • Building and enhancing relationships within the data department and the wider company
  • Strategically looking at opportunities to improve and expand our DATA services
The right candidate also has following:
  • Team management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value projects for clients
  • Line management experience, including training, performance management, and productivity measurement
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly numerate and skilled at managing and interpreting large volumes of data
