The beauty of this role is it will allow you to major in social research, working for clients such as government departments and regulators but also give you the chance to work across a real range of other sectors. Perfect for a social researcher looking for a little more or someone with a commercial background keen to work on more worthy projects that will have an impact on society. The ideal candidate will have a quantitative research background and will either be a current Research Manager or an SRE looking to make the next step.
Although your specialism will be in quant insight you will have the opportunity to experience everything else that this company offers from strategy and branding to data analytics and design. A large proportion of the research conducted in the team is international in nature and involves the application of a wide range of analytical methods from behavioural science techniques (e.g. implicit), to advanced analytics (e.g. segmentation, drivers, trade-off). They focus on providing clients with engaging visualisations and outputs. There are therefore many opportunities to be exposed to new and exciting innovative approaches while also working on some fascinating studies that reveal the global views of how people think, feel, and behave. You will be given responsibility from day one. You will be fully involved in proposals, leading projects, uncovering insights and delivering reports and presentations as well as mentoring junior team members. You will be involved in debriefs and pitch meetings, allowing you to establish and build relationships with clients and be on the ball when it comes to leading projects.
