Job Spec: We have a FTC role (potentially temp to perm) starting asap. Established research and consulting agency seeks someone to cover maternity in this pivotal role within the business and will involve working closely with all teams to respond to briefs, project manage proposals including writing part of them. It is client facing, fast paced and fun.

The role sits within the Sales and Marketing team and will be very visible across the whole business and will involve working closely with the Executive board. This would suit someone with a research or consulting background who loves developing client relationships and proposal writing but is less keen on the running of projects... or it could possibly suit someone with a sales background, although it's a consultancy sell and not a sales role. Energy and passion for the work are key!

We are looking for an ambitious, tenacious, proactive, grafter who's interested in a career within the consulting world. We are an ambitious business that is determined to grow, not just in the UK but across our international offices.

This role reports into the Client Development Director and is responsible for the management of incoming briefs through our marketing team, via our Directors and Partners as well as the Client Development Directors outbound activity. Your job would be to manage that through the system working with the teams.

We need someone who will:

  • Deal with inbound opportunities
  • Liaise with the prospective clients
  • Project manage pitches
  • Research and prep for meetings
  • Create and feed into project documents
  • Diary and team management
  • Use website CRM to add and edit records
  • Assisting the team in developing new client base
  • Attend events, networking where possible
  • Working with the Marketing team to maximise inbound lead generation
  • Preparing sales presentations and participating in sales meetings
  • Producing reports for management
