Job Spec:

Health and Social Care Policy.

Our client is very established in the deliberative arena and they are looking for a deliberative public engagement Research Manager to join their growing team, working on very high-profile engagement and research projects in the health and social care arena.

The role will see you working with citizen juries and assemblies and conducting public and stakeholder dialogues, and it will see you influence and inform decision making around some of the very key issues, as well as impacting on quality-of-service provision, in this very critical policy area. Whilst it is focused on deliberative work, there is also the opportunity to get involved in wider research programmes.

The challenges this team work on are the highest profile, and they are very complex: recent projects include how should NHS services respond to the pandemic? how should waiting lists be prioritise?, how should community services be designed to give the best outcomes? how to improve health inequalities?...

You will be managing deliberative engagement work from end to end: developing discussion guides, recruiting participants, project management, analysing outcomes, writing presentations and debriefs for clients, and managing client relationships. You will be working with a wide range of advisory and steering groups, and building strong relationships with a wide range of partners.

You will have excellent facilitation skills and a clear interest in deliberative work, and the ability to delve into and interpret complex qual data for your clients. You will need strong interpersonal and communication skills and be a proven project manager. Knowledge of the health and social care policy area would be an advantage, but this is not a deal-breaker, as long as you have an interest in the area.

As importantly, we are looking for an ambitious individual who is keen to grow and develop - there is lots of scope to develop specific areas of interest within health and social care, to help grow the business, play a key role working on major clients, build new offers and manage juniors - along with stacks of training, support and development along the way.

Who to contact: Please send your CV to Stephanie Fairbank or telephone: 07595 821 535 for an informed discussion.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR NAME AND EITHER YOUR RETURN E-MAIL ADDRESS OR TELEPHONE NUMBER IN THE MESSAGE. Please say that you found the vacancy on MrWeb! Thanks for your interest.
