Job Spec: Really exciting opportunity to take charge of market research/insights activity for this leading international provider of loyalty solutions to leading brands within global retail and FMCG.
Working closely with centralised global marketing and various international marketing teams, you'll oversee all market research/insights processes. Essentially this will entail both carrying out in-house quant/qual studies plus commissioning agencies and evaluating/partnering external data suppliers; delivering presentations (internally) right through to board level; producing insights/thought leadership focused content for social media, industry sources and beyond. You'll get to work on both broad global projects or those focused within particular international markets/'local' teams (inclusive of encouraging 'local' marketing teams in the application of insights via in-house and external sources). All in all, this is an insights role involved in much of what this group does, and thus one to make your own.
Ideally you'll be a trained market research professional with exposure to mixed methodologies, plus knowledge of secondary/third party data sources, who is 'hands on', flexible and in possession of strong project management skills. You'll be a confident presenter who can back up conclusions through demonstrable ability to source key insights, and you may well have previous expertise in producing insights led/thought leadership content. It's also likely you'll have good knowledge of the retail or FMCG sectors (knowledge of loyalty etc is hugely advantageous).
