This role is perfect for an experienced quant research practitioner (Account Director or aspiring Director) who enjoys the full gamut of quantitative research and marketing sciences methods. Someone who can switch between managing tracking and ad-hoc research projects, run segmentation and choice models, problem solve, think creatively, integrate, triangulate and synthesise data and lead juniors along the way.

As an Associate Director, you will know how to understand client problems and deliver insights cleverly that drive tangible impact, ROI and commercial growth. Confident with all elements of the consulting process - you will be equally sure to unpick client briefs, design research methodologies, and deliver outstanding quant insights and recommendations at the c-suite finish line.

Their client list is enviable, with names across Telecommunications, FMCG, Retail, Technology, NFP and Services from international global organisation chips to emerging local start-ups.

Given their strategic client partnerships, you'll get to answer highly strategic and big-picture thinking questions across diverse topics - segmentation, brand positioning, consumer experience, innovation, U&A, pricing strategies, and demand forecasting. The quantitative team draws on advanced analytics with exposure to conjoint analysis and regression.

This role combines the art and science of interrogative data analytics and compelling storytelling consulting.

The essentials:

  • 5+ years of commercial research and insights agency experience
  • Strong quantitative capabilities - SPSS/Q/excel (and an interest in qual)
  • Proven experience managing customised ad-hoc projects end-to-end
  • An engaging personality and a confident presenter
  • Genuine desire to lead and mentor juniors
  • A strategic mindset, seen as a trusted client insights partner
