Job Spec: An interesting new role based within this Corporate Communication Consultancy, committed to building a better world through intelligent and creative communications for their clients. Sitting within the Research and Insights team you will play a pivotal part in helping clients to solve major challenges through science and technology - helping them tell their story, make the right connections, change attitudes and influence behaviours. Working with a team of market researchers and data scientists, you will bring your data science and insights expertise to a client facing role focused on storytelling and creating insights through defining strategies and delivering objectives.

The role

We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Behavioural Data Analyst to join a growing insights team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for an ambitious person with a passion for using data to understanding human behaviour, and storytelling through data, to make a significant impact in a dynamic, supportive environment.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering insightful, strategic analysis to many of the world's leading organisations and companies that are helping to shape a positive future. Your ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations will play a key role in delivering best-in-class client work for our international team.

The person

This is a rare opportunity for someone interested in applying the latest analytical techniques to understanding human attitudes and behaviour. You'll be confident using analytical and statistical techniques (e.g. NLP, clustering, regression) in Python to draw insights from a range of data sources, such as media, social media, web, interview transcripts and survey data.

We require proven experience in behavioural, marketing and attitudinal data to guide strategy, competent Python analysis skills, experienced with varied data sets and strong statistical analysis skills (clustering, regression etc) and the ability to apply these to real world business problems. Experience with web scraping, SQL, PowerBI are also desirable.
  • Strong capability in storytelling with data, crafting clear and persuasive narratives that highlight key findings and guide client action
  • Strong data visualization and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client-facing experience, with a talent for building relationships and effectively communicating with clients at all levels
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small focused team
  • An understanding of communications and marketing research tools and methods available within the industry and how they can benefit a client. (highly desirable)
