Job Spec: A sales professional with a strong knowledge of research and / or a research background, eager to win new business for a highly reputable B2B Tech focused MR agency.
Our client, an independent MR agency based in the home counties, seeks a Business Development Director to bolster their vibrant and rapidly expanding team.
Specializing in B2B market research within the Tech sector, they count major Fortune 500 technology players among their esteemed clientele worldwide. While prior experience in this sector is advantageous, a genuine interest is equally valued.
This role presents a remarkable opportunity for an ambitious individual to carve their path, overseeing prominent global accounts and shaping the company's strategic direction.
They are not after a 'lone wolf,' but a collaborative leader eager to foster team growth and contribute to organizational strategy.
A solid understanding of research methodologies is crucial, alongside the ability to collaborate closely with research consultants and Operations Teams to deliver bespoke and customised work that not only meet but exceed client expectations.
Requirements include:
- 5+ years' experience sales within Market Research
- B2B / Tech sector experience would be preferred.Financial Services, Consumer, pharmaceutical also considerable as long as there is an interest in B2B / Tech.
- Knowledge of bespoke primary research and who has done research themselves to an extent
- Line management experience.
