Job Spec: Are you a junior market researcher looking for your second role in a consultancy environment big enough to have a genuinely international outlook, but small enough to foster the trust, creativity and collaboration so important for a fulfilling career?
This role offers exactly that. It is with a well-established full service insights consultancy with offices around the world that enjoys long-term partnerships with clients across many varied sectors including FMCG, retail, food, beverages, media and more. With the success of their recent period of stimulating change and growth, they seek a talented RE level researcher keen to inject the consultancy mindset into their thinking.
Responsibilities include:
- Drafting research materials, including recruitment screeners, discussion guides and questionnaires, for Director review and amending materials upon receipt of feedback
- Manage external suppliers and oversee the fieldwork process to ensure all agreed quotas are met
- Support Directors in managing suppliers project costs and work within project budgets as far as possible
- Take on a key role on report development, charting slides in PowerPoint, ensuring they clearly communicate findings in a visually compelling manner
- Work with the design team for additional design outputs, such as videos, infographics and personas.
This is an ideal second role for someone who has already laid the foundations of their career in market research in an agency environment. Ideally you will have a quant leaning combined with an appreciation of qual methods which you will be keen to incorporate more of in your work. The majority of your time will be spent on project work, assisting Directors with the delivery of sophisticated strategic insight, compellingly presented in the form of stories, videos, infographics and workshops. Areas of development are well defined and supported including proposal delivery, marketing and design.
Personal learning and development is very well supported here in a role where the sky really is the limit for those looking to broaden their horizons.
