Three Screen Video Data Partnership

US media measurement and research agency Rentrak Corporation has partnered with video and media solutions firm Concurrent to gain a 360 degree view of video and advertising consumption patterns across TV, mobile devices and the Internet.

Concurrent will collect data across multiple services while validating the integrity and timing of the data at the source level. In turn, Rentrak will analyze and report the data in real time.

'This partnership directly aligns with our commitment to help our customers better deliver and monetize high-quality video across the three screens through an open, commercial and intelligent model,' stated Paul Haddad, VP and General Manager of Media Data and Advertising Solutions at Concurrent.

The firms expect the new solution to speed industry adoption of ad solutions across converging platforms, and provide operators and content providers with the ability to better monetize media information with advertisers through census-level and near-real-time data.

Rentrak offers research and audience measurement tracking programmes across theatre, home entertainment, on-demand, DVR, linear TV, interactive TV, broadband and mobile content. The firm is headquartered in Portland, Oregon, with additional offices in Los Angeles and now New York City.
