UK Indies' Group Grows Amid Recession

UK researchers' association the ICG (Independent Consultants Group) has grown its membership with sixty new members in the last ten months bringing the total to 340, a net gain of 8% allowing for departing members.

'It is fantastic to have welcomed so many new members recently,' says ICG spokesperson Anumita Sharma. The ICG provides a community where members are keen to work collaboratively and share knowledge. ICG members often work as teams, bringing different strands of expertise together.'

New members are enthusiastic about the Group. Jane Grimwood of Grimwood Associates says membership provides her with 'connected cocooning', adding 'The ICG has given me access to a wonderful bank of knowledge at the click of a button. It keeps me up to date on trends, new methodologies and approaches.' Ros Elwes, Off the Wall Consulting, comments: 'I have never been part of a more knowledgeable, forward thinking supportive group. Members not only support but also provide fruitful business leads to each other.'
