nqual Research Tools Go DIY

London-based online qualitative agency nqual has made its portfolio of research tools available to agencies on a DIY basis.

Jeroen VerheggenFounded in 2005, the firm offers a platform which replicates offline qual techniques and communications in an online environment - including online focus groups, online diaries, online forums and MROCs (market research online communities).

The company's 'Rich Focus' software functions in the same way as an online chatroom, with an interactive display screen and a set of tools to enable a moderator to manage groups.

Through the release of the new DIY features, Managing Partner Jeroen Verheggen says that market research agencies will be able to set up and manage all aspects of their online qual research projects through a single portal.

'We believe the market research industry has now fully embraced online qual methodologies and agencies are more interested and ready to have their own capabilities,' states Verheggen. 'Our new DIY solutions offer clients the opportunity to extend their portfolio of research capabilities without incurring enormous costs.'
