Gongos Promotes for COO Role

US-based full-service provider Gongos Research has promoted Camille Nicita to the position of Chief Operating Officer, after a year when the company reported a 40% growth in revenue and a 35% increase in headcount.

Camille NicitaFounded in 1991, Auburn Hills, MI-based Gongos Research offers qual and quant techniques across a range of business requirements. The firm also has its own usability test lab, and last September, it launched the i°Communities mobile app to enable users to take part in discussions, 'flashpolls' and mobile-enabled online surveys.

Nicita joined the firm in 1992, since when she has led the Qualitative Research Division and the Retail & Services team. In 2009, she was promoted to lead Gongos' research practice groups.

In her new role, she manages the firm's four research practice areas, as well as the Community Methodologies and Information Systems/Programming teams. Additionally, she oversees the company's 'people practice' - which includes recruitment, development and retention.
