Brunswick Research Hires Former KRC MD

In the UK, PR firm Brunswick Group has appointed Phil Riggins as a Partner in its Opinion Research Practice, Brunswick Research.

London-based Brunswick specialises in assessing global business issues and corporate reputation, and uses research techniques to help companies and organisations inform and measure their communications strategies.

Riggins joins from his previous role as EMEA Director of APCO Insight, the polling and research division of APCO Worldwide. Before this he was MD, Europe for KRC Research, Weber Shandwick's opinion research arm. Earlier in his career, Riggins held senior roles in his native US, working for SWR Worldwide and the State Department.

In his new role, he will work alongside former Opinion Leader Research Director Graeme Trayner, who set up Brunswick Research in 2006.

Trayner says that Riggins' arrival marks the next stage in the group's growth. Brunswick Research is planning to build on its existing team in London and Brussels with the opening of operations in Hong Kong and the US in the next twelve months.
