Ipsos MORI Appoints Former BASES MD

In the UK, Ipsos MORI has appointed former Nielsen BASES EMEA MD Susan Malcolm as Managing Director for its Ipsos Marketing division.

Susan MalcolmMalcolm joins with more than 23 years' market research industry experience, including client and project management, marketing, sales and business analysis.

Most recently, she was a Director at independent data analysis company Octopus.im, prior to which she spent ten years at Nielsen, latterly as a 'Master Black Belt of Global Consumer Products'.

Earlier in her career, she worked client-side as Market Research Manager at Kelloggs, and in marketing and information systems management at Cadbury Schweppes / Coca-Cola in the UK and US. She also spent eight years as an Executive Director at ACNielsen in Australia.

Commenting on the appointment, Ipsos MORI CEO Ben Page said: 'Susan's broad experience at Nielsen and client-side, as well as her people skills, mean she's well placed to lead our new larger Marketing Business for global fmcg companies in the UK and worldwide.'
