UpSellit Debuts Site Abandonment Survey Tool

October 4 2011

US-based UpSellit - which focuses on reducing 'site abandonment' - has released the Dynamic Exit Survey; a tool to gather insight about why consumers abandon their online shopping carts.

Chris WamplerFounded in 2005, UpSellit has developed custom chat, e-mail and survey technologies designed to help clients capture data and feedback from consumers who have abandoned their online shopping experience mid-process.

The new tool combines the firm's abandonment detection technology with its 'Question Logic' engine, to capture business intelligence, address consumer concerns and provide product or service recommendations.

The tool targets specific traffic segments mid-abandonment, and every campaign is custom designed to either lead the abandoning consumer back to the site, or to gather quantitative visitor feedback data and promote social interaction.

The firm's co-founder and CTO Chris Wampler explains: 'We are continually exploring new methods for customer recovery, and through Dynamic Exit Surveys, we are able to give our clients easily analyzed, detailed business intelligence at the same pay-for-performance business model typical of our customer recovery solutions.'
