October 29 2012

Retail foot traffic counter Shopper-Trak has announced the acquisition of Silicon Valley-based ReTel Technologies Inc., which provides hybrid video auditing solutions and advanced shopper analysis.

Shopper-Trak Buys ReTelReTel's technology - which includes the secure auditing of videos to provide advanced reports for retailers - will be integrated with Chicago-based Shopper-Trak's Managed Service's core offering to give retailers rapid access to customer demographics, queue analysis and data on speed-of-service and sales process effectiveness.
