Merger for US Polling Firms

In the US, public opinion research firm Anzalone Liszt Research (ALR) is merging with Democratic pollster Grove Insight.

The new company, Anzalone Liszt Grove Research, will have offices in Washington, D.C., New York City, Lana'i City, HI and Montgomery, AL and will offer landline and cell-based polling, live focus groups and a range of online quant and qual products from web-based ad testing and heat mapping to conjoint analysis.

Company leaders John Anzalone, Jeff Liszt and Lisa Grove worked together on the Democratic side in the 2012 election campaign.

Anzalone started his company in 1994 in 1994 in Washington, D.C. and was joined by Liszt in 1999. Grove worked as Vice President at the Washington, D.C.-based Mellman Group for nine years before starting her own company, and earlier in her career was a Research Associate at Hill and Knowlton's Research subsidiary, Strategic Information Research Corporation and Belden Opinion Research. Grove Insight also has an environmental / green market research division, Green Insight, launched in 2007.
