Facts International Hires Three

In the UK, fieldwork firm Facts International has appointed three new members of staff - Sian Kerr, Daniel Thirkell and Karen Voutt - for its team in Ashford, Kent.

Established in 1985, Facts provides research and field/tab services to both end clients and market research agencies. The firm is part of Chime Communications' CIE (Chime Insight and Engagement) division, which also includes Opinion Leader, Watermelon Research, Tree, Open Plan and Naked Eye.

Kerr joins as Insight Director from FWD, where she served as a Research Director specialising in the financial services market. Prior to this she worked for Ledbury Research, TNS-BMRB, ORC International, Consensus Research and Research International. In her new role, she will help expand the company's financial services accounts.

Thirkell served most recently as a Research Director at Gracechurch Consulting, prior to which he spent nearly eight years at the Business Research Group, with a focus on ad hoc research and competitive intelligence studies. Following the recent expansion of Facts International into Australia, in his new role as Insight Director, Thirkell will oversee a number of international accounts.

Voutt joins as a Client Services Assistant, having previously worked at Synovate as a Research Assistant on qual and quant research projects.
