Annik Relocates Founder to New York

India-based MR technology and operations company Annik has transferred founder, President & CEO Rahul Sahgal from its HQ in Gurgaon to New York, as it looks to extend the firm's footprint in North America.

Annik employs more than 700 research, data and financial experts at its two Indian locations, Gurgaon and Hyderbad; US operations in Largo, FL, Redmond, WA, and San Francisco, CA; and offices in China, Japan, Poland and Dubai.

Sahgal (pictured), who founded the company in 2000, is moving to New York to drive additional growth initiatives and client relationships across the US. Commenting on his relocation, Sahgal said: 'North America has always been our largest market and I feel this is the right time to strengthen our presence as the US economy comes back.'

In a related move, Ankita Sethi , who heads the Research & Analytics Account Management Group, will be moving to Chicago in order to be closer to clients.

Separately, in India, Neeraj Gupta joins as Global Head of Capital Markets business, with a background that includes six years at Dell, and more than seven years at Genpact Headstrong Capital Markets.
