ORI Debuts Multi-Channel Event Assessment Service

US-based market research firm ORI has launched an event evaluation tool, Audience Insights, which combines expert analysis with feedback questionnaires and social media monitoring.

Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, ORI works for associations, government contractors, small businesses and public policy organizations. The new package helps users assess key areas like views of speakers, business generated by stands and sponsorship, and likelihood to recommend. It includes a dedicated account manager; advisory input from specialist researchers; analysis of what's being said on social media; simultaneous data collection via paper, mobile and email; and rapid processing in time for post-conference debriefs.

John Kagia, ORI's Director of Strategy & Insight, comments: 'How an organization asks these questions depends upon the audience and the insights being sought, which in turn require a thoughtful and flexible approach that simply cannot be provided by 'canned' event evaluation systems that are built-in with a registration tool... This shifts the dialog from 'I think this went well' to 'I know what went well, and I can prove it.'
