Paris, London and Tokyo-based app re-targeting specialist Accengage has raised $3m in funding, which it will use to expand its team and develop new product features.
Accengage has developed a series of SaaS mobile marketing technologies for push notification, mobile retargeting and mobile tracking. These tools can also be used for custom audience segmentation, personalization and targeting in real-time, including geo-targeting.
The new funding has been led by OTC Agregator and Mobile First Alliance, and will also be used to expand Accengage's infrastructure to keep pace with its European growth. According to CEO and co-founder Jérôme Stioui (pictured), this growth has been particularly noticeable in France, where he says 95% of smartphone owners have the firm's technology installed on their devices.
