Dentsu Aegis' Columbus Sets Sail for Asia

October 26 2015

Marketing services giant Dentsu Aegis Network is expanding its digital performance agency Columbus, currently focused on Australia, into Asia, where it will operate in parallel with sister agency iProspect.

Columbus, which is based in Sydney and over nine years has grown to around 100 staff, offers 'consumer-centric performance and experience solutions underpinned by data and technology'.

Rosemary Lising, previously Regional MD iProspect: Key Accounts, will become MD for Columbus Asia and will drive the expansion, reporting to Ruth Stubbs, now CEO of a new division, Dentsu Aegis Network Digital Performance, which along with iProspect also includes John Brown and mobile agency Fetch in Asia Pacific.

Lising comments: 'Columbus has been an extremely successful company for Dentsu Aegis Network in Australia, and we feel it's the right time to expand the business and its innovative performance solutions into Asia'. Rebecca Tos, who will continue as MD for Columbus Australia, says the expansion is 'a significant milestone for Columbus, not only signalling the strength of our brand across borders but also the synergy of our world class offering with clients in the Asian market'.

Dentsu Aegis Network is headquartered in London and employs more than 27,000 execs in 123 countries worldwide. Web sites are at www.dentsuaegisnetwork.com and www.columbusagency.com .
