In Sydney, Australia, former 3 mobile and Yahoo!7 Insights specialist Sharon Keating has launched a company dedicated to improving the wellbeing and performance of execs, particularly in the market research industry. Her company, 'The Juicy Effect', will combine lessons and techniques from neuroscience, kinesiology, body-mind nutrition, advanced hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming, time-line therapy, the ayurveda and bespoke kinesio-temporal techniques. Services are delivered online and aim to help with nutrition, weight-loss support, stress-management and boosting creativity.
Keating points to the increasing demands on the profession in a fast-moving and competitive business landscape, and comments: 'Researchers are expected to be creative, analytical, and decisive all at the same time. Having worked in the industry for many years both client-side and as a supplier, I know what it is like. Eventually, it takes its toll. This is my opportunity to give back to an industry that has been very good to me'.
She concludes: 'By bringing together the best of what has been scientifically proven to work across a range of disciplines, we are supporting researchers to continue to raise the bar whilst also maintaining their health and wellbeing'.
The company is no relation to UK-based BrainJuicer, whose high potential 'Juicy' products have recently been rebranded with the prefix 'System1' - thus avoiding a potentially sticky situation.
The new company is online at www.thejuicyeffect.com .
