Datorama Raises $32m to Expand AI Capabilities

September 20 2016

New York-based marketing and media analytics firm Datorama has raised $32m in a Series C round of funding, which it will use to accelerate its research and development in the artificial intelligence field, and expand its machine learning capabilities.

Ran SarigDatorama's Marketing Integration Engine applies artificial intelligence to automate the process by which marketers connect all the online and off-line data they gather from advertising, marketing, sales and CRM. To this it adds patent-pending data modeling, campaign management, and advanced analytics with real-time reporting and data visualization tools.

New funding was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Marker LLC and Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors, bringing Datorama's total funding to $50m.

CEO and co-founder Ran Sarig (pictured) comments: 'Although we're extremely proud of our achievements and monumental growth in the exceedingly complex martech market, we're not going to rest on our laurels. In this next stage we're going to focus on the further development of our best-in-breed solution, and we're going to continue to push the boundaries of machine learning and how it's applied in the marketing analytics capacity'.
