Snapchat Competitor Analysis Tool Launched

December 5 2016

Copenhagen, Denmark-based Snaplytics has launched a competitor analysis service, accessed via the same dashboard as its existing brand and influencer analytics offers.

Snaplytics gets the data before it disappears...Users can research and assess what others are doing on the platform, to aid strategic decisions on their own Snapchat campaigns. A brand's user name is fed into the dashboard, bringing up a range of analytics options including the frequency with which stories and snaps are posted; the duration of updates; how content is split between videos and images; and the overall amount of time people have been engaged. The existing packages already include industry benchmarks to help marketers determine whether they are creating compelling campaigns and reaching their target audiences.

Founder and CEO Thomas Cilius comments: 'Snapchat is a fantastic tool for marketers but because content disappears so fast, it is impossible for brands to monitor 24/7 what is going on with their competition on the platform. By providing this data in an easy-to-read dashboard, brands and agencies gain the marketing insights they need and have time to consider how they want to create their own campaigns based on the best practices from their competitors'.

The new service is free for competitive monitoring of one account, with prices starting at $29 per month for 2-5 accounts. Web site: www.snaplytics.io .
