Spain-based big data platform Shalion has raised EUR 5m in funding, with which to expand across Europe and the US. The firm provides CPG brands with real-time eCommerce intelligence and digital shelf analytics.
Shalion's integrated retail media and digital shelf solutions are based on data from more than a thousand retailers across more than 60 countries, and aim to help client companies understand their performance in online channels and analyze market behavior. The company is led by CEO and founder Germán Loewe, who also founded Netquest (now part of GfK).
