Brain Science Firm Neurons Opens US Office

Danish neuroscience solutions firm Neurons Inc. has opened a first US office, located in Austin, Texas.

Neurons was founded in 2013 and merged soon after with US specialist Sands Research. The company is headquartered in Copenhagen, and in the past three years has augmented its Board with representation from investor Fairpoint Capital and with the addition of Helle Thorning-Schmidt, former Prime Minister of Denmark.

The firm says its new location 'marks a big step in the firm's global growth' and will help it get 'even closer' to the brands, agencies and researchers it works with across North America.

This includes support for clients in local time zones, and the strengthening of existing US-based partnerships. The company also says it will 'accelerate access' for clients in the regions to its Neurons AI offering, including the AI Copilot it launched a year ago this week.
