Circana Names President, Global Retail and Media

Consumer intelligence giant Circana has appointed Cara Pratt as President, Global Retail and Media, with a seat on its executive leadership team.

Cara PrattGlobal consumer data firms IRI and The NPD Group merged in 2022 and the combined company was renamed Circana shortly after. The company's core platform is the former IRI product Liquid DataLiquidAI and a smaller client option Liquid Data Go were launched last year.

Pratt brings two decades of experience, most recently as SVP, Media, Insights and Loyalty at retail data science company 84.51°, a subsidiary of retail chain Kroger. In this role she oversees Kroger's integrated retail media, consumer insights and loyalty marketing business, and earlier she played a key role in building its Precision Marketing division. Earlier in her career she was a Retail Client Solutions Executive at IRI, and she also spent more than a decade at dunnhumby, in roles including SVP, Specialty Retail and Sector Expansion.

In her new role, starting on May 27th, Pratt will lead Circana's retail and media strategies, with a remit that includes strengthening retailer partnerships and advancing media network collaboration.
