In California, entertainment and media research and analytics firm Screen Engine/ASI has appointed longtime MarketCast employee Rachel Krauss Weise, as SVP of New Business Development and Strategic Market Solutions.ScreenEngine provides audience intelligence, content testing, brand strategy and marketing optimization, powered by an audience benchmark database. The firm works with studios, networks and creators to improve the viewing and financial performance of content using a mix of in-person methods and proprietary digital testing software.
Krauss Weise (pictured) brings more than twenty years of experience in the sector. Most recently she was President of Bastion Insights in the US, and before that she worked for three and a half years at analytics firm Vault AI, most recently as President, Insights & Strategy. Prior to joining MarketCast for a ten-year spell in 2008, she worked at Millward Brown company Dynamic Logic.
In her new role she will focus on ongoing efforts to expand the firm's reach into consumer brands, hospitality, retail and other sectors, alongside its core areas of media, entertainment and gaming.
