Dublin-based CX analysis specialist Solidroad has raised $6.5m in Seed funding, with which to develop its platform and rapidly expand its team.Co-founded by Mark Hughes and Patrick Finlay (pictured), Solidroad targets companies with high volumes of customer interactions - at least tens of thousands of conversations a year - who want to include AI in their response, but who also want to retain human contact. The firm offers an AI QA and training platform which reviews all of a company's customer conversations and learns from them.
The software automatically generates individualised training simulations for reps, and surfaces opportunities for improvement, 'with precision and at scale.'
The funding was led by First Round Capital with participation from Y Combinator, as well as angel investors, and brings the company's total funding to date to $8m.
